It was the first legal whiskey distillery in Houston, and is named after the woman who legend claims helped Sam Houston win the battle for Texas' independence from Mexico. "Born in Texas, raised in Houston," Giant Texas Distillers is found inside what was once Uncle Ben's rice company. All of the spirits are distilled and matured in the Lone Star State. Visitors can learn about the grain-to-glass process during a fun, immersive tour. Sampling some exclusive spirits is included, and reservations must be booked 24 hours in advance.
