Are you finally settled into the neighborhood, but not too sure where to go for a nice brew of coffee? Luckily, we've rounded up four of our favorite places to grab a cup of Joe near our apartments in Houston Heights.
Tout Suite
This rustic and cozy cafe on the corner of Chartress St and Commerce St is a lovely place to go for some coffee, or even to meet friends. With brick walls, rustic lights, and a cozy overlook, this cafe is a go-to spot for aesthetic charm.
Thought the cafe itself was the best part of this place? Think again. This cafe has an array of delicious foods that will keep your appetite quenched throughout your stay. Still not sold? You'll find yourself drooling over the dishes featured on their Instagram.
Paper Co.
This unique cafe takes on a more modern look, confidently donning white walls and an open ceiling.
Their menu leans heavily towards their brews, but that doesn't mean their food is anything other than appealing. With some vegetarian options and a lovely array of wholesome meals, you will not leave hungry.
Many say a picture can mean a thousand words, so take a look at their Instagram for a better understanding of this lovely place.
Common Bond Cafe and Bakery
This cafe and bakery hybrid aims to satisfy. It contains an odd yet appealing choice of olive-colored walls, a worn wooden base for the counter, and an open ceiling similar to Paper Co.'s.
Unlike the other cafes we've discussed, this location does not only serve coffee and lunches, but an array of pastries, and even custom cakes. That doesn't mean they lack in their beverages, though. They offer many coffees, hot chocolates, lemonades, and even some alcohol.
If you don't want to visit, but still desire their selection, you have the option to order online.
