Knowledgeable docents lead tours Monday through Saturday, starting at 11:00 a.m. They're offered with admission and are a fun way to enjoy an in-depth look at the exhibitions.

Established in the early 1980s, the Houston Center for Photography has grown to become one of the city's exemplary fine arts organizations. The gallery showcases the finest contemporary photographs. It's free to the public, and the majestic images spark lively conversations. The center also offers hundreds of classes and workshops throughout the year. They're led by esteemed photographers and welcome everyone from beginners to professionals. 

Houston Museum of African American Culture 

Better known as HMACC, the Houston Museum of African American Culture interprets and exhibits the material and intellectual culture of African Americans in Texas. It highlights stories inspired by innovation and empowerment. For a unique look at the museum, gather your friends for a group tour. Docent-led, it lasts up to ninety minutes and was designed to encourage a deeper engagement with the exhibitions.
